This organization is a day shelter for homeless women and children. They assist their clients by providing the daily necessities of food, shelter, transportation, diapers, formula, and help with other critical needs. They also provide self-help programs such as job counseling, self esteem classes, parenting skills, legal assistance, and on-site medical assistance.

SERVICE HOURS:
8:00 am to 4:00 pm MON - SUN; pap smears: 1st FRI of the month; medical services: 9:00 am to noon MON; 9:00 am to 3:00 pm WED

SHELTER FOR WOMEN AND WOMEN W/CHILDREN

This organization provides emergency shelter to women in need. Emergency shelter clients receive two meals per day (week) and three meals a day (weekend), personal care items, laundry facilities and clothing. Referrals to health care, legal assistance, housing, and job placement are provided. All clients must participate in chapel/devotion time, life skills classes and parenting classes. The mission also offers an addiction recovery program to women seeking recovery from chemical dependency, domestic violence, and other life controlling issues. Clients of this program are expected to make a minimum commitment of 6 months.

24 hours daily

ELIGIBILITY:
Females 18 years of age and above; must have been clean at least 72 hours prior
